Dear Friends of Prism United,
To protect our participants and their families from Corvid-19 and to do what we can to slow its spread, Prism United is suspending all remaining in-person gatherings for the month of March. We are looking into possibilities for online gatherings and will post updates via email and social media if something is scheduled.
Two of our major events are being postponed as well: Come Out Mobile, the annual fundraiser put on for Prism United and Rainbow Mobile; and Prism Prom, which was originally scheduled for April 11th. Come Out Mobile has been rescheduled for September 12th. As soon as we finalize the new date for Prism Prom (which will be in May), we’ll send out notifications.
As the situation develops over the coming weeks, we will continue to reassess and provide updates. In the meantime, if you are an LGBTQ youth or the loved one of an LGBTQ youth who needs support, please reach out to us here, on social media, or at (251) 219-8441.
