Prism United Brings Visibility to LGBTQ Youth in South Alabama

Prism United is a data-driven organization. The data tells us over and over again that repression and victimization drive up reported rates of anxiety, depression, disordered eating, substance abuse, and suicidality in LGBTQ youth. The data also shows us that when LGBTQ youth find love and acceptance—when they’re able to be themselves openly, without fear—those struggles decline.
