Wig Out to Lift Up LGBTQ+ Youth
The Wig Walk is one of Prism United’s largest annual fundraisers, a joyful jaunt to build community between Mobileans and local businesses. Participants take to the streets of Downtown Mobile for an afternoon of bubbles, brews, and bites, culminating in a vibrant After Party with live music and local vendors.

Wig Walk 2026 returns for its 4th annual strut on Saturday, October 24, building on last year’s fabulous $46,000 raised as we set our sights on a $50,000 goal. Details coming soon, with plenty of surprises in store!

Wig Walk is a joyful community celebration and fundraiser for Prism United, fueling life-saving programs for LGBTQ+ youth in southwest Alabama. It’s wigs, joy, and togetherness all for a fabulous cause.
Your ticket gets you access to participating Downtown Mobile venues, where you’ll enjoy a curated mix of brews, bubbles, and bites along the Wig Walk route. It’s part tasting experience, part celebration, and all for a great cause.
Those under the age of 21 are welcome to join us at the After Party where a vendor market, yard games, facepaint, and other exciting activities await!
Your child is welcome to join us at the After Party! Folks under legal drinking age aren’t allowed to join us on the Pub Crawl (because they can’t enter the bars!).
As long as each person on your team has a ticket, there’s no separate team registration required. If you’d like to go a step further, you can create or join a team fundraising page through GiveLively to raise support for Prism United. It’s a fun way to add a little friendly competition, track your impact, and help us reach our Wig Walk goal. We’ll be spotlighting top fundraisers and hosting pre-event challenges, and there will be awards for teams, so stay tuned for ways to compete (and claim Wig Walk glory).
