So Here’s The Plan

The Prism Local & Affirming Network (PLAN) connects local businesses and organizations with Prism United’s mission to build a more inclusive Southwest Alabama. As a PLAN Partner, you’ll be recognized as a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth, families, and visitors while gaining access to resources, training, and community connection.

Annual Membership: $75

Your annual partnership includes:

  • Official endorsement as an LGBTQ+ affirming space
  • One cultural competency training for up to 15 staff (25% off the flat rate, with all per-person fees waived)
  • A Prism PLAN Partner door decal to display
  • A digital badge for your website or email signature
  • Inclusion in our internal resource directory for LGBTQ+ families and tourists
  • Spotlights on Prism’s social media and newsletter
  • Early access to sponsorship opportunities and community events
  • Invitations to PLAN Partner mixers and networking opportunities
  • Eligibility for an annual Prism Beacon Award, honoring businesses and organizations that shine as guiding lights in the journey toward inclusivity and acceptance

Commitment To Inclusion

All PLAN Partners sign our Values Agreement, affirming a shared commitment to respectful, inclusive service for LGBTQ+ individuals. As part of that commitment, displaying the PLAN door decal in a visible location is required. New partners will also receive a welcome packet to help you get started in the program, including visibility tools and guidance for creating an affirming environment.

Become A Plan Impact Partner

PLAN Impact is for businesses and organizations ready to take an active role in supporting LGBTQ+ youth. This elevated partnership is ideal for those who want to directly support youth empowerment while amplifying their voice through PLAN. To become a PLAN Impact Partner, simply choose one of the following commitments:

  • Support Youth Workforce Development. List your internship, volunteer, or job openings in our LGBTQ+ youth-friendly directory
  • Host a Prideraiser. Fundraise for Prism through round-ups, Pride nights, or limited-edition Pride products
  • Offer Your Space. Invite Prism to set up a pop-up or info table during Pride Month, LGBTQ+ History Month, or Trans Day of Visibility

  • Priority Recognition During Pride Month. A dedicated feature on Prism’s social media and newsletter during Pride Month.

  • Inclusion on Event Materials. Your logo or name featured on select promotional materials at Prism’s major events and outreach initiatives.
