Prism Preteens Gatherings - TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED
Our Prism Preteens curriculum takes youth on a guided exploration of virtues like courage, justice, and wisdom. The program is designed to build self-esteem and equip participants with stress and anger management strategies. We take a couple breaks from programmed material at each gathering for the youth to play and socialize.
Participants earn virtue badges for completing mission objectives throughout the program. After we complete each unit, we hold a badge ceremony to award preteens who have completed their mission objectives. Our virtue badges were locally designed by Sean Herman, owner of Serpents of Bienville.
Youth must be registered by a parent to participate in the Prism Preteens program. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a Prism Preteens registration form.
Prism United responds to the comprehensive needs of LGBTQ youth. Specifically, Prism works to mitigate the psychological, socio-economic, and academic disadvantages caused by repression and victimization.
