July is Internal Work Month

Prism Internal Work Month banner.

As we embrace the heat and sunshine of the summer, it’s time for our team at Prism United to take a step back and focus on some essential internal work. July is our designated month for evaluation, retooling, and rejuvenation as we prep for another exciting new school year.

We are even gearing up for Prism’s first-ever leadership retreat, a pivotal opportunity to enhance our strategic planning and team cohesion. During this period, all program gatherings are paused, and we will resume our activities in August.

It’s been an incredible year! Look forward to our upcoming annual report, showcasing all the remarkable achievements from our ’23-24 fiscal year and our exciting plans for the next year. Stay tuned!

Save the Dates

We’re already gearing up for a fabulous fall season. Be sure to mark your calendars for these two incredible occasions: Wig Walk 2024 and the third annual Come Out Mobile gala. More details coming soon!

The Wig Walk is one of Prism United’s largest annual fundraisers, a joyful jaunt to build community between Mobileans and local businesses. Participants take to the streets of Downtown Mobile for an afternoon of bubbles, brews, and bites, culminating in a vibrant After Party with live music and local vendors. This year, on Saturday, September 21, we will provide new ways to fundraise, utilizing peer-to-peer and team fundraising for the first time.

This historic event will honor four trailblazers who have significantly shaped the progress and trajectory of our community.
