Right now, a bill called HB-1 is making its way through the Alabama Legislature. HB-1 would turn medical and mental health professionals into felons for providing trans youth with gender-affirming care. It would also require educators to out trans youth to their parents. Everything about this legislation would be devastating to a population that is already at greater risk of violence, homelessness, and suicidality. Help us end this hate bill before it becomes law.
