Prism United invites you to lace up and strut your stuff for our second annual Wig Walk, a joyful jaunt designed to strengthen the bonds between Mobilians and local businesses. This year, our Wig Walk logo features a fabulous new wig, adding an extra touch of flair to our celebration. We can’t wait to see the dazzling wigs you’ll wear this year!
On September 21, 2024, Wig Walkers will take to the streets of downtown Mobile for an afternoon of bubbles, brews, and bites, culminating in a vibrant After Party with live music and local vendors at Braided River Brewing. This unforgettable event will raise vital funds to support transformative programs and services for LGBTQ+ youth in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.

Build a Wig Walk squad or join as a scene-stealing standalone as you don a wig and sample some of the choice tastes and toasts in Downtown Mobile. You can now support our cause in two exciting ways: through peer-to-peer fundraising or team fundraising using Give Lively.
Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
Create your own fundraising page on Give Lively and share it with friends and family. Spread the word about your participation in the Wig Walk and encourage your network to donate directly to your page. Every contribution helps and shows support for LGBTQ+ youth in our community.
The highest fundraiser will win a special Wig Walk Award.
Team Fundraising
Gather a group of friends, family members, or co-workers and form a team. Create a team fundraising page on Give Lively, where each member can contribute to a collective goal. Compete in the Wig Walk Awards for a chance to win one-of-a-kind trophies at the After Party event stage.

Here’s how you can earn your tickets:
Raise $200: Receive 2 free tickets.
Raise $500: Receive 5 free tickets.

Wig Walk – Lower Dauphin Downtown Mobile
The walk will take place from 4-7 pm. Event routes and venues will be announced closer to the event. Ticket holders can look forward to an adventure marked by brews, bubbles, and bites.

Join us for an After Party in the Streets at Braided River Brewing Company. There will be food trucks, yard games, and a community celebration all for a good cause.

Adults Drink Tickets: $40
- Commemorative drinking vessel
- 6 drink tickets (5 oz pours for beer or 3 oz for bubbles)
- Admission to the after party

Your child is welcome to join us at the After Party! Folks under legal drinking age aren’t allowed to join us on the Pub Crawl (because they can’t enter the bars!).
Yes! Along with free “bites” for ticket holders, there will also be food trucks at the After Party.
Yes, your team will need to create a fundraising page using Give Lively. From there, you can create a unique theme and a fundraising goal. Teams are eligible to compete in our Wig Walk Awards.
