Prism Prom 2022!
Prism Prom is officially on the calendar! If you’re an LGBTQ high-schooler, we hope you’ll join us for a night like no other.
#prismprom
Another way you can support the prom is by joining our #prismprom campaign. All you have to do is record a short video on your phone about what Prism Prom means to you, or what it would have meant to you if you could’ve gone when you were in high school. Once you’ve finished recording, just upload your video to Instagram and be sure to #prismprom. All ages are invited to participate! We believe the campaign will help get the word out to LGBTQ youth in our area who might like to attend.
Raising Visibility
For over three years, Prism United has been responding to the needs of LGBTQ youth and the people who love them by providing support groups, referrals to LGBTQ-knowledgable healthcare providers, and other important services. But there are still too many teens who don’t know that we exist. Not only will prom-goers have an unforgettable night—they’ll also learn about what we do on a regular basis.
Support the Prom
Prism United depends on community support to exist. Because of you, we’ve been able to build an organization, expand our programs, and launch a new chapter of Prism across the bay. Now, we’re asking you to help us throw the biggest LGBTQ prom the Alabama Gulf Coast has ever seen. You can help us fund Prism Prom by making a donation or becoming a sponsor. If you keep showing up for us, we’ll keep showing up for LGBTQ youth in our area.
